The Hindu Prince Siddharta Gautama
once said, “Three things cannot be long hidden: the sun, the moon, and the
truth.” He forgot to mention something else that did not remain hidden,
Escondido, California. The literal Spanish translation of the city’s name is
actually “hidden” because of its scenic position of a shallow valley
surrounded by rocky hills.
The City of Escondido which first wrote on the pages of history in 1888 is
one of the first cities founded on the San Diego County. Being originally of
Native American descent, the area was converted to a Spanish regime after
its occupation between the seventeen-hundreds and the eighteen-hundreds.
After a battle just south of the city, fate later included Escondido as one
of the cities of the United States of America. Under American control, the
city had no where to go but up. It grew and developed its way to this day
where it stands between Route 78 and Interstate 15.
Other Escondido facts include it being the home of Tom Anderson, one of the
co-founders of MySpace and the actors Richard Denning and Randy Vasquez.
These facts are only the icing on the cake for what the city actually is
with the bustling Escondido, California yellow pages and the different
opportunities for leisure and activity that come with it.
Entrepreneurship is known to be fruitful in the city. To find Escondido,
